Asa Hutchinson Says FBI’s Actions at Mar-a-Lago were Fine

Governor Asa Hutchinson (R-AR) stated during”CNN's “State of the Union” that the FBI had been “simply carrying out their responsibilities” in the case of the raid on the former residence of US President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence.

Hutchinson stated, “I think we all need to relax and accept that we'll need to watch the details that are revealed. There's a sense of urgency to it because this is a new phenomenon and the search of the former home of President Trump. The American public is eager to know this. In the present you've talked about the movement of the wagons in the direction of Donald Trump. This is simply because they view the establishment as trying to smear Donald Trump, and they are unsure if that was the right decision and if it's a less intrusive way to achieve the same goal. We'll need to be patient. The attorney general was right in releasing information during the week.”

He went on to say, “If the GOP is going to be the party of supporting law enforcement, law enforcement includes the FBI.”

Hutchinson said, “The FBI is simply doing their job as per the law. They have a legally valid search warrant, which a magistrate signed off on. And they weren't in there wearing FBI police uniforms. They tried to limit the way they carried out this warrant.”
