Chuck Schumer warns Biden about Changing Democrat Senate Prospects

A video of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) talking with President Joe Biden in Syracuse, NY, at the airport on Thursday shows him worrying about losing important U.S. Senate seats.

In one conversation, Schumer spoke about his thoughts on the Georgia U.S. Senate race between Republican Herschel Walker and Democrat Raphael Warnock, acknowledging that the seat could flip in favor of the GOP.

“The state where we’re going downhill is Georgia. It’s hard to believe that they will go for Herschel Walker,” Schumer said to Biden.

Schumer seemed optimistic about the early turnout in Georgia, saying it was “huge.”

In a separate conversation, Schumer acknowledged that the Democrats have been “in danger” of losing the Pennsylvania U.S. Senate seat to Republican Mehmet Oz, but Schumer did not dwell on John Fetterman's embarrassing performance during the debate Tuesday night.

“That seat. We’re in danger of that seat,” Schumer stated. “It’s close.”

“It looks like the debate didn’t hurt us too much in Pennsylvania,” he said.

Breitbart News reported Wednesday that Herschel Walker is now holding an almost 4-point advantage over Warnock on the Georgia race:

Georgia Republican U.S. Senate nominee Herschel Walker took his largest lead over Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) with less than two weeks until the election, a Wednesday co/efficient poll found.

The poll puts Walker above Warnock by nearly a four-point margin, with 47 percent supporting Walker and 43.6 percent supporting the incumbent Democrat Senator.

After Tuesday's debate, an Insider Advantage poll showed that Mehmet Oz is now ahead of John Fetterman by 3 points.
