Trump has urged Ohio voters to back Republican J.D. Vance in lieu of Ryan, “the far left Democrat phony running for the United States Senate.”
Trump stated the fact that Ryan has a campaign based with the slogan “I love Donald Trump policy,” but he also called Ryan, the Ohio representative, out for not voting in line with the president Joe Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and Democrat Senate Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
Trump also called Ryan out for falsely promoting himself as a Trump-friendly candidate despite his pro-Democrat vote within the House.
“People contact me and say, ‘You have to know that Tim Ryan did a commercial and I believe that he truly likes you. He doesn't like me. He doesn't love me and I do not like him. He's been awful,” Trump said. “Tim Ryan is a militant left-winger who is lying to your face, is acting as though he's my friend on policy, pretending to be a moderate so he can get elected and betray everything that you believe in.”
. Ryan has voted more with Biden than he did with Trump during his presidency.
“He is not moderate. He is radical left. 100% of the people he voted for backed these Biden disastrous policies. Tim Ryan pretends to be in favor of Trump. However, when the president was my own, he supported us 16% of the time. And these are fantastic strategies for Ohio,” Trump said. “And in the past two years, he's been voting along with Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and others all the time. No matter the issue is being voted on, or how poor it is.”
Trump was then critical of Ryan for saying “We've got to kill and confront” the MAGA movement.
“He recently urged his supporters to take down this MAGA movement. He stated, ‘Oh it's not working well in Ohio. Let's get rid of that. Trump wanted to kill. Did you catch this? We must kill MAGA,” Trump said.
“Now the man says it's okay. If I tell him that we'd like to speak just a bit to the left of the political spectrum. He's treasonous. an act of treason that's a crime. He's such an evil person. He did vote his heart's content and he stated that he was very clear: kill MAGA,” Trump added.
“I do not think it's working when I say it, but what do you think? We must be cautious and be tough and be wise because these people will come at you, and it's going to go well and I don't believe there's ever been a nation who has endured this kind of thing,” Trump said. “This is only the stage which is the evolution stage that they're currently in. The situation is getting worse and worse. The Green New Deal is a destructive force. It's a complete sham, I'm going to tell you.”
