On Monday, in an appearance on FNC's “Hannity,” Georgia Republican U.S. Senate nominee Herschel Walker denied a Daily Beast report that the senator had paid for his long-time girlfriend's abortion.
Walker claimed that the report was an attempt by his opponents to divert attention from their party's “true problems” in the country.
“I have no idea, but it is a flat-out lie,” Walker stated. “And now you understand the importance of this seat. It's a crucial seat and they'll do whatever it takes to win it. lying, as they'd like to talk about all other things, not the actual issues that are facing us in the United States include – high inflation, the broad open borders, and crime. They aren't willing to discuss these issues therefore they're inventing stories now, because they want the Georgia seat. Therefore, I urge everyone out there to not allow them to take this seat. If you are able to, go to teamherschel.com. We must not allow them to take the seat. If they do, we will not recognize the country in the future because if they expose themselves with complete lies is not the right thing to do.”
Walker is up against the incumbent senator. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) in the Peach State's midterm election on November 8.
