The dates were revealed following an investigation of the calendar of Hunter Biden's personal life from the famous “laptop from hell.”
The calendar shows the fact that Hunter Biden met with Joe Biden around 30 times either in the White House or the vice residence of the president located at the Naval Observatory from 2008 until the year 2016. The meetings would be held at any time – sometimes in the space of an hour following Hunter Biden returning after a trip to a foreign country for business or having a meeting with a client within Washington D.C.
The report from the Post also revealed Hunter Biden's business associate, Eric Schwerin, was identified as an invitee on 21 of the 30 meetings that Biden had with the vice president.
Schwerin was President of Hunter Biden's dissolved Investment fund Rosemont Seneca Partners and reportedly had access to Joe Biden's financial records. The revelations revealed recently that he may have been invited to the White House over 19 times prior to meetings, including a meeting with Vice President Biden in November of 2010, According to White House visitor logs.
According to the Post:
Hunter Biden met Daniel Kablan Duncan, the Prime Minister of Côte D'ivoire, on April 15th, 2016 in Washington D.C., his calendar indicates. At 8:15, the a.m. talk was followed by a 9 a.m. gathering with Vice President Biden at the Naval Observatory. The reason for his meeting with Kablan is not clear.
Between February 15 – 18, 2012 Hunter Biden was wined and dined by billionaire oligarchs from Moscow including one currently suspected of murder. After returning, Hunter Biden met with Vice President Biden at the Naval Observatory.
On Nov. 14,2015 Hunter Biden met with Romanian ambassador to the United States George Maior, prior to leaving to meet with the Romanian ambassador in the country. He returned to the United States on Nov. 17 and enjoyed breakfast at his dad's Naval Observatory two days later. A few months after his trip, he joined forces with the former FBI Director Louis Freeh to help Romanian businessman Gabriel Popoviciu stay out of jail.
The report also disclosed the fact that Hunter Biden had set up an appointment that included Joe Biden and former Colombian President Andres Pastrana Arango on March 2nd, 2012.
Eight months before the gathering, Hunter Biden, Schwerin, as well as Rosemont Seneca were allegedly pursuing deals in conjunction with Brazilian construction company OAS that had been “interested” in four major projects in Colombia at the time. There were two treatment facilities valued at around 380 and 350 million as well as a hydroelectric power station that was worth $1.8 billion, as well as renovations for the Bogota Subway System, valued at $3 billion.
Schwerin believed if OAS deals were successful in Colombia, the billion-dollar project would cost Rosemont Seneca $5.6 million off of a 1 percent “success fee.”
Emails also disclosed the fact that Rosemont Seneca was on retainer for $25,000 per month from OAS, a Brazilian construction firm. OAS was later involved in Brazil's biggest corruption scandal, known in the form of “Operation Car Wash.”
Hunter Biden flew to Bogata in November 2011 to hold a meeting with Pastrana. The notes indicate that Colombia's minister of mines and energy was also part of the meeting. Hunter Biden also met with the counselor of Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos later that day, as the Post reported.
It was February of 2012 when Pastrana's personal calendar showed that Hunter Biden asked Pastrana to join him while he was in Washington D.C.
Then, a month after Schwerin, the then Colombian President was reported to have met together with Joe Biden at the Naval Observatory in Washington, where Schwerin was identified as an invitee to the meeting. Hunter Biden met with Pastrana as well as a Colombia coffee executive at the coffee shop later in the day.
The Post noted that Hunter Biden was arranging other meetings with Pastrana as well, one of which was with Cesar Uzeda who is the international OAS chairman.
The revelation came after the personal account of Hunter Biden's iCloud account was reported to have been stolen by users, prompting GOP officials to label Biden's son the president's “national security” threat while calling for the investigation to be conducted, News reported.
