“I'm feeling great, I hope it comes across that way as well,” Biden declared. “I hope I look as good as I feel here.”
The crowd laughed at Biden's comments, leading him to correct himself.
“That sounded awful didn't it?” he said with a laugh. “I never looked that good, I hope I look as good as I usually do which is not that good.”
The president discussed his health during a chat with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won about investing in American manufacturing technology.
Biden joked that he could go out on the terrace and “holler” to his visitors and declared that he was on his “last day” of isolation after a positive test on the virus.
His voice was more clear than it was during other recent video conferences, where the president was clearly hoarse and coughing from the coronavirus virus disease.
Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the president's physician, revealed in an open letter on Monday in which he said that Biden had completed his five-day treatment of PAXLOVID and that the symptoms had been “almost completely resolved.”
O'Connor also stated Biden “now feels well enough to resume his physical exercise regimen.”
The White House refuses to make Biden's physician available for journalists to inquire about Biden's condition.
