“For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power,” Biden stated about Russian President Vladimir Putin during his speech in Poland.
Although world leaders were critical of the remarks made by the president, with French president Emanuel Macron saying that it could cause an end to peace talks, Bill Kristol hailed it as an historic event that was comparable to Reagan.
Kristol is joined by many other Biden supporters in his praise of the speech.
Kristol's remarks were immediately rebuffed.
The comparisons between Biden's speech and Ronald Reagan's remarks were tainted after the president's speech on Sunday.
“Mr. President, do you want Putin removed? Mr. President, were you calling for regime change?” A reporter asked Biden when he left the church on Sunday.
“No,” Biden replied.
