Police Narrow in on Raymond Spencer as Person of Interest in D.C. Shooting


    NBC Washington reported that police have identified the “person of interest” in a recent shooting in Washington, D.C. as 23-year-old Raymond Spencer. The victims “were shot Friday afternoon in the Van Ness neighborhood.” All the victims are expected to survive.

    WTOP reported that Spencer was located in Fairfax, Virginia, and police are asking him to turn himself in. 

    Mike Bloomberg's affiliate Everytown for Gun Safety noted that D.C. “has some of the strongest gun laws in the country and leads the nation with a strong background check law.”
