An animal rights activist strapped herself to the basketball's back net in the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves' game last Saturday.
The protester was wearing a shirt that targeted Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor which read, “Glen Taylor Roasts Animals Alive.”
You'd be surprised to learn that it's not the first protest in the past week where Taylor is targeted. A few days prior to the activist securing herself to the hoop, a different protester was glued to the ground when the Timberwolves were playing the Clippers.
The animal rights activist association Direct Action Everywhere has taken the responsibility for both protests.
Rosenberg was reported to have walked close to the net and covered her shirt by placing an over-sized towel over herself, pretending as if she was an official of the ball squad.
Minnesota defeated Memphis 130-117 to win the opening game of the playoffs.
