CBS News reports that Philadelphia police commissioner Danielle Outlaw noted that one of the suspects was killed during the shootout.
Outlaw reported that the 34-year-old Gregory Jackson was “involved in an altercation physically with a man that could be likely to be the source for the incident. They then started firing at each other, one of them fatally.”
Another of the fatalities was identified as a 27-year-old Alexis Quinn, and the third victim was an unidentified male aged 22 years old.
Breitbart News reported that there had been nine shootouts across Philadelphia from Friday to Saturday afternoon. There were nine shootings that occurred prior to the shootout that took place on Saturday night.
One of the shootings resulted in the death of a pregnant woman who was in her 20s. FOX 29 reports that the woman was shot in the head after police discovered her on Saturday “on Richmond Street and Wheatsheaf Lane shortly before 1:30 a.m.”
The woman was killed, however, doctors were able to save her child.
