During this week’s broadcast of FNC’s “Fox & Friends Weekend”, Sen. Rick Scott (R.FL) rebuffed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s threats of escalations if Poland transferred fighter jets to Ukraine in support of Russia's invasion.

Scott called Putin “a thug” while stating that the Russian authoritarian “doesn’t dictate terms of American support.”

Scott stated, “I pray Putin ends up in prison together with everyone that's supported him for a long period of time.” “But we must get moving here and do everything we can to help Ukraine, get the planes. It's just mad. This makes it seem crazy that this is happening.

First, Putin does not dictate the terms of American support. He said that we dictate the terms of American support.” “Putin is a thug. He will bully. He will do all he can. It is essential that we have an administration that promises to help the Ukrainian people. We have committed billions of dollars to Congress. This aid has to be provided. I am still angry about the Polish planes. They should have been there to assist the Ukrainian pilots. We have to move quickly here, Biden is slow about everything. We have to help them. By the way, Putin doesn’t dictate our terms. We decide what we do. We have the most powerful military in the world. Our economy is the strongest in the world. We decide what we do, not Putin.
