The Group Behind the Lawsuit For Flying Immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard Against DeSantis is Soros Funded

A leftist non-governmental organization (NGO) that billionaire George Soros helps fund is backing a lawsuit against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for flying illegal immigrants to the elite island of Martha’s Vineyard.

Last week, Florida’s governor sent two flights filled with illegal immigrants who were from Venezuela to Martha's Vineyard, where former President Obama has an expansive 29-acre summer estate.

Despite being able to accommodate 6 million newcomers, the immigrants were taken from Martha's Vineyard less than two days later and sent to Joint Base Cape Cod.

A small number of illegal immigrants that had been transported into Martha's Vineyard have since filed a class action against DeSantis and the state of Florida, claiming that their rights, according to the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments, were violated. These illegals are represented by lawyers from Alianza Americas, which is an NGO that received more than $1.4 million from the Soros Open Society Foundation from 2016 until 2020.

The majority of the funds given by Soros towards Alianza Americas has been used to promote an open border strategy that includes Central America, the United States, Mexico, and Central America, including lobbying for immigration policies that promote mass immigration within the U.S.

Since the migrants were sent from Martha's Vineyard to Joint Base Cape Cod, several left-oriented lawyers have declared that those who arrived remain “very traumatized” from being transferred to Martha’s Vineyard.

Certain illegal aliens, however, have stated that they are keen to go back to Martha's Vineyard.

Despite the opposition from elected Democrats and the open border group, DeSantis has pledged to send more illegal immigrants to sanctuary states as well as the homes of the Democrats' wealthiest donors.
