Three Bodies Recovered From Chicago Waterways in Just Two Days

    It was reported that the Chicago Police Department said the marine unit found a body in Lake Michigan on the Near South Side. The man, who was not identified, was found not breathing and was declared deceased in the block 3000 of South Fort Dearborn Drive. Investigators are currently conducting an investigation into the death of the man, which is pending the results of an autopsy.

    As per the ABC report, two bodies were found in various areas in the Chicago River on Saturday, police said:

    The body of a woman was found in the water just after 11:00 a.m. within the 100 block North Riverside Plaza in the city's West Loop neighborhood, police reported. Police from the CPD Marine Unit pulled the body out of the water, and declared her dead on the spot. A little over 30 minutes later, another female body was discovered dead in the waters of the block 2800 of South Eleanor Street in Bridgeport, police said. The body was also declared dead on the spot.

    Authorities have identified the second female as being 80 year old Yuet Tsang.

    Officials have not reported the two Chicago River scenes as being linked in any way “Detectives are conducting a death investigation, pending autopsy results, officials said,” the report concluded.
