UFC Champion Jake Shields Bails Out of Disney’s Stock Because of Its Opposition to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill

“Read about Disney and immediately sold 100 percent of my Disney stock and will try not to support them in any way in the future,” UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) MMA (mixed martial arts) five-time champion Jake Shields wrote in a tweet on Thursday, frustrated with recent challenges to Florida's “anti-grooming bill,” the Parental Rights in Education Bill, which protects children from activist educators.

Shields’s protests come following an entire week of revelations concerning Disney and their efforts to follow the agenda of the radical left regarding transgender, racial, and homosexual concerns.

As Breitbart's Katherine Hamilton reports, in a video leaked from Disney's “Reimagine Tomorrow” summit, Disney's diversity and inclusion director, Vivian Ware, can be seen telling employees that Disney will no longer refer to its patrons as “ladies,” “gentlemen,” “girls,” and “boys” to ease the concerns of transgender guests. The city's Christopher Rufo first reported the news on Tuesday and then posted several video clips from the summit on his Twitter account.

Hamilton continued by explaining that another section of the leaked video shows senior employees discussing the company's efforts to add additional LGBTQ+ content to its ever-growing collection. Director of production, Latoya Raveneau, spoke about how the company was extremely accommodating to her “not-at-all secret gay agenda” and that they had provided her with the opportunity to incorporate “queerness” wherever it was possible. “No one was able to stop me, and no one tried to hinder me from doing what I wanted.”

Disney Chief Executive Officer Bob Chapek has worked tirelessly to fight the laws that protect parental rights in Florida as well as to appease leftist activists inside and outside of Disney.

“Just this week Disney Chief Executive Bob Chapel admitted to his employees that he was a woke and said that Disney should have resisted Florida's Parental Rights in Education bill. Chapel also said the company is planning to create a task force to “develop action plans to create more inclusive content for LGBT-conscious kids and their families,” the Wall Street Journal reported. The legislation was passed, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) signed it into law on Monday, specifically prohibiting education on sexuality as well as “gender identity” to students in the third through fifth grades.

Shields, 43, is a San Francisco native with an overall MMA record of 33 wins and 11 defeats.
