On Sunday, people are expected to gather across the nation including in the capital city of the United States on Sunday, during this year's Women's March.
Women's March attendees are demonstrating to support pro-abortion causes following the decision by the U.S. Supreme Court overruling Roe v. Wade. The event is scheduled for the 22nd of January, exactly 50 years to the day that Roe V. Wade passed.
“We are not going gently,” the Women's March proclaimed on its website. “We are taking our fight to every state in this country on January 22, 2023.”
“We put all political leaders on the spot: If you are not coming to protect the safety of our children, our freedoms as well as our progress, we're taking your seat. Our movement is very strong. Our movement is expanding. Our movement is larger than Roe,” the Women's March added.
Breitbart News will live stream the event from Washington D.C., which will begin at 12:01 pm EST. There will be a myriad of other events scheduled throughout the United States.
The march is supported by Planned Parenthood, M.A.R.R.C.H., Working Families Power, NARAL Pro-Choice America, National Organization for Women, Ultraviolet Action, the National LGBTQ Task Force Action Fund, as well as other organizations.
The first Women's March in 2017 drew millions of protesters in D.C. following the election of the president Donald Trump.
